CANCELLED - Community Safety Training for Managing Mental Health and Addiction Encounters
Dear registered attendees,
It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that, due to low registration, we are unable to proceed with our scheduled Community Safety Training for Managing Mental Health and Addiction Encounters at this time.
As you know, addressing mental health and addiction is a critical issue for our community. The need for education and awareness in these areas is more urgent than ever, and it saddens me that the business community is not banning together enough to learn more about this issue. This event was intended to equip us all with the tools and knowledge to better understand and respond to these challenges, and I am deeply disappointed that we won’t be able to gather in this capacity for now.
However, please know that we are not giving up on this important initiative. We are actively exploring ways to reschedule the training and reach a broader audience, especially within the local business community. It is essential that we all take a vested interest in this issue, as it impacts not just individuals facing mental health and addiction struggles but the entire fabric of our community. Together, we can build a safer, more compassionate environment for everyone.
I want to personally thank you for registering for the event and for caring about this crucial issue. Your willingness to engage and learn is an invaluable part of the solution, and I look forward to collaborating with you and others in the future to make a meaningful difference.
We will keep you updated on our plans to reschedule and encourage you to share any thoughts or suggestions you may have to help us increase awareness and participation moving forward.
Thank you again for your support, and we will be in touch soon with more information.
