November Professional Interchange @ Ila's Chicago
We’re excited to announce that our next Professional Interchange will be hosted at Íla’s Restaurant, River North’s newest neighborhood gathering spot on Tuesday, November 18th! Íla’s isn’t just another restaurant; it’s a reflection of what community means.
Restaurateur Kirtan Gandhi created Íla’s as “a restaurant and bar that blends global flavors with American comfort, built on a foundation of warmth and community.” Named after his mother, who immigrated to Chicago more than 50 years ago, Íla’s is rooted in family, hospitality, and belonging. At the Greater River North Business Association, that message resonates deeply with our mission.
We’re a business community built on connection, where members support one another and grow together. Like Íla’s, we believe in creating spaces where people don’t just show up, they stay, engage, and build lasting relationships. We are not transactional, we’re intentional about building genuine, lasting relationships that strengthen our business community. Please join us and leave inspired!
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC | COMPLIMENTARY FOR MEMBERS
Our Professional Interchange events have evolved into vibrant gatherings where business professionals come together not to sell, but to inspire, share ideas, and build authentic relationships. These events foster collaboration among peers who might not otherwise cross paths at a typical networking event. Creating meaningful connections where business happens organically. This event is open to the public not for transactional purposes, but to offer guests the opportunity to experience the culture of our organization and learn more about the Greater River North Business Association and the many benefits it provides to the business community
IMPORTANT. PLEASE NOTE: Proper attire is required. GRNBA enforces business attire or a smart casual dress code. This standard applies to all of our Professional Interchange events to ensure we reflect the professionalism of our members and the venues that graciously host us.
- For men: A collared shirt and dress pants are recommended. A collared shirt, chinos, dress jeans or a button-down shirt are appropriate. Please avoid sleeveless shirts, ripped jeans, hats, beanies or ball caps, beachwear, jerseys and gym or athletic apparel
- For women: Business wear or dressy casual attire is most comfortable. A nice blouse with a dressy skirt or pants, dress jeans, or a dress would be suitable. Please avoid excessively revealing clothing, tank tops, ripped jeans, beachwear, gym attire or athletic apparel
- General advice: opt for smart casual or business attire to be safe. It is better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed.
